If we really want to encourage adoption and participation, why don't we create a Facebook group rather than adding another site for people to remember to visit? We already have a Wiki, now we've added another place for people to go to get info...seems like we're sending folks all over the place, rather than provided one place where they can get everything they need to know about the conference. I totally agree. It would be nice to integrate with existing social networking instead of building a new one. A Facebook or LinkedIn group would be great.

I'd love to learn about scaling wiki's. How do you get folks to be comfortable adding to and searching for information if they aren't used to the concept? How do we overcome the fear that folks new to wiki's have about editing, adding and using wiki's as a source of information?
